When Anna “BossLady” Brazeal says, “This is my dirt,” she’s not talking about any old place—she’s talking about Arkansas.
An Arkansas native and Henderson State University Ellis College of Arts & Sciences alumna, Anna returned home after spending more than three decades building a respected career throughout Texas, Tennessee and beyond. Her journey has taken her from honky-tonks and blues clubs to festival stages across the United States and internationally, earning a reputation as one of the region’s most authentic voices in country, blues, and Southern rock.
Throughout her career, Anna has shared the stage with Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Radney Foster, Texas country favorite Deryl Dodd, blues legends Bobby Rush & Gerry Moss, and has opened for artists ranging from Little Big Town to Uncle Kracker, Edwin McCain to Train.
Known for her commanding vocals, fearless songwriting, and gritty authenticity, she has become a favorite recording vocalist in Dallas, Austin, Houston, Memphis & Nashville.
Behind the scenes, Anna has built an equally impressive career developing artists. A Professional Recording Academy/GRAMMY® Member, producer, artist development coach, and mentor, she has spent years helping emerging talent find their voice both creatively and professionally. While in Dallas, she produced, managed, and coached artists through Ultrax Records and the renowned Septien School of Contemporary Music, one of the nation’s premier artist development institutions.
In 2010, Anna founded MoonshineMafia, a collective built on authentic musicianship, Southern storytelling, and the belief that great music should leave scars and healing in equal measure.
Anna has evolved into a creative brand centered on songwriting, live performance, artist development, and producing the next generation of independent artists.
Her own story, however, wasn’t built on shortcuts.
For years, Anna balanced a successful C-Suite corporate career while performing nights and weekends. Eventually, she walked away from the executive corporate life to pursue the calling she could no longer ignore.
“I grew a pair and finally put down the corner office,” she says with a laugh. “I wasn’t living anymore. My purpose wasn’t being fulfilled. I was playing music, but my soul weighed less. The day I chose music full time was the day I finally felt free.”
That freedom can be heard in every performance.
Whether she’s delivering a soul-shaking ballad, a hard-driving Southern rock anthem, or an intimate acoustic performance, Anna brings decades of life experience to every lyric. Her songs are honest, unapologetic, and deeply human—written for those who’ve survived heartbreak, fought for redemption, and still believe in second chances.
Today, Anna continues to record, perform, produce, mentor artists, and lead MoonshineMafia while building a legacy rooted in authenticity, resilience, and the enduring power of music.

Loaded with attitude and a fair temperament, Anna’s no stranger to the duality of being an artist ~ even the darkness that resides inside each musician. "As an artist sometimes you are bathed in glory & sometimes your faith is shaken, its our nature. Its a love hate relationship. *laughs* Its what wrestles me out of bed at 3am with lyrics burning down the walls of my mind or sometimes its completely absent from me, and I cant seem to do anything right, nothing! You’re taken to the highest places you can imagine and the next you’re in the lowest depths even nightmares seem tame."
